  1. Steps to convert a color photo into black and white using Photoshop:

    • Open the color photo in Photoshop.
    • Go to the "Image" menu and choose "Adjustments."
    • Select "Desaturate" to remove the color from the image.
    • Alternatively, you can use the "Black & White" adjustment layer to have more control over the conversion. Adjust the sliders to achieve the desired black and white effect.
    • Save the converted black and white image.
  2. Steps to transform a color image into grayscale in GIMP:

    • Open the color image in GIMP.
    • Go to the "Colors" menu and choose "Desaturate."
    • In the "Desaturate" dialog box, select the "Luminosity" or "Average" option to convert the image into grayscale.
    • Adjust the "Desaturate" slider if necessary to fine-tune the effect.
    • Click "OK" to apply the transformation.
    • Save the grayscale image.
  3. Steps to create a monochrome image in Gravit Designer:

    • Open Gravit Designer and create a new document.
    • Import the color image into the document by using the "Import" button or dragging and dropping the image file.
    • With the image selected, go to the "Adjustments" panel.
    • Choose the "Black & White" adjustment from the list of adjustment options.
    • Adjust the sliders and settings in the "Black & White" adjustment panel to achieve the desired monochrome effect.
    • Click "Apply" to apply the adjustment.
    • Save the monochrome image.
